Basketball

Open to youth ages 5yrs-8th grade. Each division works on skill development & team play including ball handling, shooting, offensive, defensive strategies. Practices begin in December (set by coaches) & games start in January.

Flag Football

This program provides youth ages 5yrs – 3rd grade an opportunity to learn basic skills, develop sportsmanship, respect and teamwork. This flag program is great for young athletes who want to learn to play one of America’s favorite sports with less risk. All players are eligible. Even the center can go out for a pass. Program typically runs from mid September through mid November with games on Saturdays between 9-1.

Gymnastics

Mini Movers (Age 3-5yrs): Designed for preschool age children to learn basic gymnastics skills with parent interaction and participation. Skills are introduced with games, stations & obstacle courses encouraging the development of motor skills, coordination, balance & body awareness.

Parents are expected to be on the floor and working directly with in the child in all activities with instructor guidance.

Indoor Soccer

This program provides youth ages 5yrs – 3rd grade an opportunity to learn and expand on basic skills and technique. Each session includes instruction and scrimmage time. Program typically runs from late February to early April.

Pipsqueaks & Playtime Pals

Designed for parent & child interactive learning. You and your child will explore the use of gross motor skill, muscle movement, coordination and cognitive development through various activities such as games, music and social play.

Sporties for Shorties

This is a five week parent & child beginner program for children 3-5 years. The program will introduce basic skills & coordination, as well as develop listening skills through different games and activities. Different sessions are offered through the year focusing on a different sport each time. Typically held on Saturday mornings.

Stingrays

The Norwalk Stingrays programs are very family-involved. The environment provided is conducive to a building and learning team. We strive for FUN and "giving it your best", knowing that your results are a reflection of just that. Semi-year round, practicing together in the spring and fall and competing as a team in the summertime. We welcome ages 6-18 years of age to participate.

You & your child will explore the use of gross motor skills, muscle movement, coordination and cognitive development through various activities and music in the gym. As well as pool time, with activities to encourage you and your child to feel comfortable in the water together.
**One adult required for each child**

Swimming Lessons

From Parent & Child to Stroke Refinement, learning to swim is a benefit that will last a lifetime. It is a life-changing skill that every age should learn. Our goal is to help create safe, strong and independent swimmers.

Teeball & Softball

TEE BALL: 4 – 6 yrs. (6 yrs - first year player)
Learning to play the game & having fun is the objective. Competitiveness kept to a minimum, no score or standings. First 1/2 of season players use a tee. Second 1/2 players have option to be pitched to. All players have equal opportunity at bat & playing defensive positions.

SLOW PITCH SOFTBALL: 6 – 8 yrs.
Coed league with goal to teach basic skills of softball & improve mental/physical ability in a low competitive, recreational atmosphere that all can enjoy. This is a coach pitch league; score will be kept but no standings posted.

Games: Usually weekdays starting early June 5:30 PM or after thru mid July
Practices: TBA in May by coaches

Volleyball

1 & 2nd graders: The Pee Wee program gives a head start on volleyball skills. Five weeks of clinics are held incorporating fun games & activities to develop coordination, spatial awareness, ball contact. Program typically held late February-April & mid September-November. Clinics held on Saturday mornings.

3rd-5th graders: Have an opportunity to learn the basic techniques of volleyball to build upon, while having fun in a recreational atmosphere. Players are divided into teams for the season for practice & games. Program typically held late February-April & mid September-November. Practices set by coaches (M-F between 4:30-6:30) & games Saturdays 9-1.

Wild Wednesdays

A nature based preschool program (3-5 yrs) that teach kids to value wildlife/nature & learn how they work together. 5-week program covering a variety of topics w/learning activities & craft time at each meeting. This is a parent and child interactive class typically held in the spring.
